That’s where we help you. When you download the app from the Clover Marketplace, we mail unique QR Codes that you can place on your restaurant’s counter or tables. When customers walk in, they can scan them to:
1. Instantly browse your Clover Menu
2. Order from their phone without a staff member
3. Pay without waiting for a terminal to be available
4. Order again when they are done
Your staff only needs to prepare and serve the food. They don’t have to handle customers, orders, and - in most cases - even payments. Counter customers have to pay in-app for merchants to consider their order valid. Table-side customers may opt to pay in-app or after their meal with a waiter. In all cases, the experience is also extremely convenient for the customer who saves the hassle of waiting for a staff member to become available.

Counter subscriptions come with 5 uniquely identifiable QR codes. Table service subscriptions come with 50 unique table QR codes (1 per table). Full service subscriptions come with 5 Counter codes and 50 table codes. If you have more than 50 tables, or want more QR codes for any other reason, please let us know through email or via the chat box!
We will use the address associated with your Clover merchant account to ship the QR codes to you via traceable mail. You shall receive the tracking number via the email within 24 hours of the subscription purchase date.
Each QR Code is unique. When a customer places an order, your Clover dashboard will display a note with the Table or Counter number the specific order is coming from. This way, you don't have to track orders manually: the system does it for you!
We directly connect our app to your Clover menu when you purchase the subscription in the Clover marketplace for the first time. You do not need to take any extra step. Your customers will immediately have access to your Clover menu.
Any changes that you make to your Clover menu wil be available to your customers as soon as they hit reload on their page. Updates are almost instant, so you can feel at ease making items unavailable, changing item options, or adding new items during service. This is a new level of flexibility you would not have with traditional paper menus.
We usually ship the standard amount of QR Codes stated in the subscription by default. Please use the chat box or send us an email if you would like to request additional QR Codes. We currently do not charge extra for them.
In technical terms, the QR Codes are thermally printed stickers. They do not use ink that could otherwise be erased, and are waterproof.
